These terms are an agreement between you and amandotyadav (“we”, “us”), based in India, for your use of the Devora browser extension (“Devora”) and this website. By installing Devora, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Devora.
1. What Devora is
Devora is a Chrome extension that replaces the New Tab page with a customizable developer workspace. It is free: every widget, style and theme is included, with no purchases, no subscription and no account.
2. Your license to use Devora
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Devora for personal or professional purposes. You may not sell, sublicense or redistribute Devora or modified copies of it, or remove its notices.
3. Updates and changes
We update Devora from time to time to fix problems, add features, or keep it working with Chrome and the services it connects to. Chrome installs updates automatically. We may add, change or retire individual widgets, styles and themes over time.
4. Third-party services
Some widgets show data from services you choose to connect, such as GitHub, Codeforces, LeetCode, Hacker News, RSS feeds or Open-Meteo. Those services are run by others, under their own terms, and can change or stop working without notice. Devora is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You are responsible for following their terms, including for any access token you add.
5. Your content
Everything you create in Devora (tasks, notes, snippets, layouts and so on) belongs to you and is stored in your browser, not by us. Keep your own backups with Devora’s export feature; we cannot recover data from your device.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t use Devora or this website to break the law, to attack or overload the services Devora connects to, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
7. Intellectual property
Devora, its design, code, themes, styles, wallpapers, name and logo belong to us. These terms don’t give you any rights to them other than the license above. Bundled fonts and open-source components remain under their own licenses.
8. Disclaimer
Devora is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that Devora will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party data will be accurate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Devora is provided free of charge, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to zero.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Devora at any time by uninstalling it. Your data stays in your browser until you delete it or uninstall Devora.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of India, unless the consumer laws of the country you live in give you the right to bring a claim there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
